Between 1990 - 2000 we had even 8 broods in Slovenia. A one litter family Rejec, a one litter Alenka Okorn with bitch INA (Konan daughter) in combination with dog ERCOLE di Ponzano. Kennel di Ponzano bred in past decades the most representatives of breed and her founder Mario Querci is main "guilty person", that is breed for 2nd world war again renewed. Two litters was having Mateja Kavcic Breznikar, that was having Konan daughter BONY del Slavone, one in combination with male from kennel del Slavone, other litter with male from very known roman kennel del Bengasche. Four litters were born at Nataša Šetinc Dolar, kennel Crna vrtnica (now rename in kennel Carso del Dolar), one from combination KONAN and AFRA, other litter was having Afra daughter IBIS with dog from one first Italian kennel ALO di casa Panico, third litter with only one puppy was had SANTA with Int.Ch. IKE-BIMBO, the last litter with only one puppyBEYBA with dog Fruit d'Amour Quartato was had Santa.. Kennel Fruit d' Amour feels like now only non italian kennel, that she managed to win name of Italian champion in beauty with its dogs! In beginning of 21. millenium is breeding completely die away, only of year 2004 is under kennel Carso del Dolar were been new litter from combination Ch. Romeo del Malapensiero and Daiane del Malapensiero. In Slovenia at the moment lives around 20 mastinos. Does this dog salivate all time?
No, it is recommendable to wipe him round every drinking of water and for dishes. He salivates approximately likewise as majority of larger dogs with short mouth.
Is this truly very sensitive and degenerate breed?
breed is tilted to displasy, that is why breeder must be watchful about feed of pregnant female, future owner must to provide for quality and balanced diet and of age properly movement. Often also problems with heart, weakened immune system and cancerous conditions. However you problems are not present only at neos, just at majority of large breeds! With correct supply dog can majority of listed conditions ease or whole make impossible.
How much is price of puppy?
Price is depends upon offer and demand, from reputation of breeder, from location of purchase, from exhibition results of ancestors(which is not always competently, several quality breeders at all aren't taking its dogs to shows, maybe only on speciality of breed), price is also thing of judgment of breeder in large extent.
