We would like breeding dogs as is written down in standard of breed. And our standards let bi us without exception come on very functional, of vital and healthy dogs. None may have doubts about this. We are against breeders, that self standard wrongly interpret. Someone doesn't know questions:"for possibility extremely any more folds, small teeth, claws, bear walk"? This is only imparting and nonsense! Look self however large winners - also in Italy, in 60-ih years 20th of century! These dogs were healthy, vital and functional, they had nothing which would be too much and exaggerated. Majority of exported dogs from Italy was bought unfortunately round pointless principle - to buy too much! From too many folds and short fangs are deliberately taken to bill of wrong line of skull, bad walk, bad support of paw, entropy, missing teeth, incompetence of natural mating and bad character. Thrue mastino is not "to drown in folds and bear walk"! We must breed healthy mastinos and let's take loss of type deliberately to lease, that him actually at all is not. Because of large interest for breed mastino napoletano, Mr. Clark started breeding in England, in cooperation with lady Denger . Combined is di Ponzano and della Grotta Azurra line. I wonder:” Or are average Britisher indeed wishes for mastino with primary character? What will be with breed, if it gets lost to time periods of wrong owner?” Mastino is not bad decision, we must take per knowledge, that guard is per excelence. Will average owner know how to control his dog enough? My Neo is best guard which am them sometimes had. It is polite to strangers under my control, however suspicious. If he sits beside me, he hates quick movements in my vicinity. He is like lioness in car and too close to us  cars behind us warning growls. It is my perfect personal guard. I admit, that it ran away from me several times from under control and got against poultry, cats and other animals, as long as she didn't subordinate them. This was demonstration, that if I am not near (as leader of pack), she takes over power. Before he goes to bed by night, every nook checks yards, few minutes listen here and there, only, when she is convinced, that none is nowhere, he goes to sleep. If we would discover someone, I am convinced, that only this could be happy, if he would end up only in hospital. She bites perhaps and she is bloodthirsty, but it is mastino, courageous, decided, intelligent and faithful to only his master. That is why I overlook her mistakes, because they are made because of my own inconsistency. He expects discipline and if he knows, that he made mistake, she also accepts sentence. No may to try to to make meek mastina so, that dog will become exhibition, we are doing breed injustice with this

Mastino napoletano in family: Mostly German mastinos lives in family without child (37%), 27% them lives in family with two children, 22 % in family with one child and 14% in families with more than three children.

Domestic animal with which coexists German mastino:  64% mastinos lives still with what kind of dog (from jorky terrier to Fila Brasilero), 39 % with small house pets (bunnies, birds, fish,...), 33 % with cats and 12% mastinos with large domestic animals as are to whetstone, geese.
