    "CANE DA CORTE"     ( valuable dog ), Italian mastiff of passive anatomy, more slow movement, more massive looks and that is why with restricted usability of kot of excellent guard. We could compare him with modern English bulldog, that is was selection as show dog with Anglo-Saxon character. Result of selection is non  reflects and non functionaly in more views. And all any more them is, that they say: " Mastino future is for me mastino from past." Breed is becoming more and more homogeneous otherwise ( at least on shows), however isn't losing alone on suppleness just also on temperament.

    So is some time ago Mr. Nicola Imbimbo, judge specialist for napoletano, author of books concerning breed and breeder suggested test of character and stamina. Breeds still aren't doing him unfortunately also in  native country for now.
